*) The year 1930 for this photo cannot be correct, because it contradicts other information in the family documents. My grandfather Gottfried Preuß died on the 18.1.1929. My father left Germany on the 6.4.1928 and was on the 15.4.1928 in America, from where he returned on the 30.11.1929. My cousin Hildegard Gehrmann was born 9.9.1925 and is the youngest person on the photo and was probably at the time of the photo 4 years old. The photo was probably from the beginning of the year 1928, or earlier, before my father left Germany.

So the photo must be from before my Grandfather died, 18.1.1929. And because my father was at the death of his father still in America, it must be before he left for America, 6.4.1928.
